Multi-sport excellence.
Darebin Multi-Sport Stadium, renamed Narrandjeri Stadium, offers the community in Melbourne’s inner north the highest quality in sporting facilities.
The facility is located at John Cain Memorial Park in Thornbury and offers three indoor multi-purpose courts to accommodate a range of sports such as netball, basketball, badminton and volleyball. The stadium provides 298 fixed seats and six universal-access spaces to indoor show courts.
Other features include separate player and umpire changerooms, administration, multi-purpose rooms and ancillary areas with a cafe, spectator facilities, a function room with an outdoor deck area, and a new carpark over at least 5000sqm to service the precinct.
The facility is on track to receive a 5-star Green Star certification.
