Redefine Urban architecture with Rachaporn Choochuey at RMIT's Brunswick Campus.
MPavilion 2022, designed by Rachaporn Choochuey from all(zone) in Thailand, was generously donated to RMIT University and now resides at the Brunswick campus.Choochuey redefines urban architecture, emphasising adaptability and community in mega metropolises.
This unique pavilion, known for its tensile architecture, has three layers. The lowermost layer features vibrant fabric that gently sways with the breeze, casting dappled light reminiscent of being under a canopy of trees. Exploring how everyday life shapes and is shaped by urban environments. Their approach focuses on creating built environments that foster a sense of belonging and adaptability, contrasting with traditional notions of solidity and rigidity in architecture.
